KIDS AT MUSEUM L-A
FREE, FUN, FILL OF DISCOVERY.
Join Museum L-A for a whole bunch of fun this February break! We're hosting three free kids' programs while school is out. Parents are welcome to stay or to pick up their children at the end of the program.
Bring warm clothes--parts of the mill can get a little chilly!
NO COST TO ATTEND. PARENTS DO NOT HAVE TO REGISTER.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Programs are limited to the first 20 children. Register today!
February 20th: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join our volunteer Gene Clough (Lecturer Emeritus at Bates College) for two hours of invention and discovery! Kids will get hands-on experience with the workings of simple machines. Send telegraph messages in Morse code and build your own gear structure!
February 22nd: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join our educator Kate Webber for a behind-the-scenes mystery journey through Museum L-A! Kids will get some basic clues and facts about historic objects and places before they have to put their investigative skills to work and solve the mysteries.
February 23rd: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Our volunteer Ray Biron will offer an afternoon full of wonder and magic! Ray has a lot of tricks up his sleeve and puts on a fascinating and delightful performance. A magician never reveals his secrets--but you just might get the chance to learn some tricks of your own!
